Today there are so many netbooks to choose from that you can be overwhelmed, especially with all the new models that are coming out. Well I want to show you the new Gateway LT3103 which in my opinion blows away all other netbooks.
Going for $379 to $399 this netbook is amazing with the ultra bright display, 2GB of ram and a nice 250GB hard drive. Below I put together a video to show you all the great features of this gateway netbook, also below are the links to where you can get it and technical specs. I guess Gateway has finally some MOJO.

You did some test about battery autonomy?
got it since 2 weeks, and it is one of the better netbooks. tried a “acer one” before, but i need more than 800x600px screen resolution to work.
however, the linux driver support for the lt3103 is just terrible. tried ubuntu and fedora and they all had issues with either wifi, gfx card or the cpu (cant adjust frequency, so its always running on full power + fan on). the other thing i noticed was that wifi is pretty slow. tried to copy a big file over from my other laptop, and i got just ~600…650kB/s. might be ok for browsing the web and playing online games, but not doe large file transfers.
battery life is about 3 – 3.5h in windows, less than 2h under linux unless you get this cpu frquency issue fixed somehow.
I bought one (refurbished) off Woot and couldn’t be happier. It’s light, think and fast. The built-in camera and mic work great with Skype, and though it doesn’t have cd/dvd drive, I’v watched movies off my flash drive with it and it worked fine.
The wifi reception is very good, better even than my macbook in that regard. The only downside I can come up with is that it comes with Vista, but so far that hasn’t been as much of an obstacle as I feared. Just took some getting used to.
hi, did you find any skin manufacturers? thanks man, im really enjoying this netbook. cheers!
I was looking for dvr related articles, this was good – bookmarked your site!
I recently begun creating my own solar panels – I utilized some video guides I found and it’s working out good!
