The new emachine ET1831-07 is a great starter computer, it comes with plenty of ram 4GB and a large 750GB Hard drive. In my opinion emachines has been making pretty good computers lately. In the video I mention that you can get this computer for about $460 and that was because there was a sale at Best Buy for $469 which included an 18” lcd monitor. The computer actually cost a little under $400.

My motherboard burnt out and the power supply was on the way. That was around August of 2010. Anyways I went to the store to replace the broken parts. That’s when I noticed this little e-machine sitting there. I usually build my own rig and it needed a complete overhaul. Seeing something that said e-machine on it I would normally cringe but it was a really good deal. I purchased that and tossed my HD-4650 in the graphics slots. Underneath that I stuck an Antec Vcool to chill it off. Above that I placed another exhaust fan blowing out. This little e-machine kicks some serious ass with minor upgrades. Even though this processor is outdated and hard to overclock the graphics card is not. I have yet to meet a game this machine can not handle. With proper upgrades
Oh yeah I had to upgrade the power supply too. All my extra purchases were to turn this into a very cheap gaming machine, and it has lived up to that task.
